Caregility is seeking an experienced Full-Time, Exempt employee.

This role is based out of our Wall Township, NJ office.

This position will play a pivotal role on the accounting team within finance. This position will get involved in all aspects of accounting functions, from transactional processes in accounts payable and receivable, to financial close journal entries and reporting, to helping implement best practices and process improvements. Recommending and implementing controls based on department objectives.

Consults with Team Lead regarding major policy decisions, major expenditures and unusual problems.Roles & ResponsibilitiesThis position handles and is expected to protect all internal and external confidential information and must utilize discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures. Maintains general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, and setting up new accounts. Performs various month end reconciliations Maintains accounting records for fixed assets. Assists outside auditors at year-end to include preparing schedules, providing explanation of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data. Prepares Monthly Inventory Reporting Maintains records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material. Updates records as necessary. Assist with design and implementation of any necessary department controls. Proactively Interfaces with Information Management department for accounting and management data and initiates modifications/enhancements to computerized systems. Proactively engages with other departments and team members to initiate and implement process improvements. Prepare monthly financial statements to include preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, reports on changes in financial position/budget variances. Recommend improvements to processes and financial reporting. Establish business relationships with operational and sales organizations Must have knowledge of accounting and appropriate software

  • Microsoft Office Suite IFS Cloud Must have knowledge with various accounting software packages.Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the duties outlined in this job description. In addition, you may be assigned other tasks and responsibilities from time to time, as determined by the needs of the company. These duties will be aligned with your position and may evolve as the business requires.   • Knowledge and use of Integrify/Nutrient Software is a plus.
  • Knowledge and use of Domo Software is a plus.Education & Qualifications 2 - 5 years Staff Accounting experience.AA Degree or equivalent experience in a technical subject is desirable.Use of software applications Microsoft 365 in conjunction with desktop publishing and manipulation graphs, spreadsheets, etc. Knowledge of Adobe CS3 Suite used in conjunction with graphic design and desktop publishing.
