ABOUT MOMENTIC STUDIOS
At Momentic Studios, we're on a mission to redefine wellness through our transformative brands: SWTHZ and STRONG Pilates. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This foundational role involves responsibilities across accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, and monthly close, playing a key part in building structure, ensuring accuracy, and scaling our operations.

THE ROLE
The Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations for our wellness studios, reporting to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities include managing core accounting workflows for all Momentic brands, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely payments, and clean reconciliations, while helping to develop scalable accounting processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accounts Payable & Expense Management: Manage AP workflows, record and reconcile credit card transactions, ensure timely vendor payments and documentation compliance.
  • Month-End Close & Reconciliations: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, support month-end processes across multiple entities.
  • Revenue & Reporting Support: Reconcile revenue between POS systems and QuickBooks, assist with royalty calculations, prepare location-specific P&Ls.
  • Process & Controls Development: Design scalable processes, maintain documentation, collaborate to resolve discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-location environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and AP tools like Bill.com.
  • Experience with membership or recurring revenue models, POS integrations, and revenue reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and remote work experience with US teams.
