Job summary

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Finance and Accounting team with AR, EOM entries, and P&L closings. Daily tasks include auditing checks, petty cash, and adjusting reports, and distributing to the Guidance Team.

The role also involves compiling cash over/short reports, balances on credit card ledgers, and preparing daily consolidated deposits. You will assist in invoice processing and matching PO invoices for processing while analyzing data

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar function.
• Passionate about numbers.
• Willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
• Team player, hard worker, multi-tasker and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR, EOM entries, and P&L closings.
• Audit Exec Checks, Petty Cash, and Adjustment reports daily.
• Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received in outlets and by Front Desk.
• Assist with invoice processing and matching PO's to invoices for processing.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
