StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on a remote Staff Accountant search.

Reporting to the Accounting Director, this role will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Reconcile and complete monthly and annual period-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
• Experience in inventory, taxes, prepaid expenses, account and bank reconciliation, month-end closing, and journal entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite software.
