We have modernized our business with technology and processes similar to a SaaS company.

We seek a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 2–3 years of experience to support daily accounting operations, assist in month-end closes, and maintain accurate financial records per GAAP. You should be process-oriented, eager to learn, detail-focused, analytical, and a problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Manage vendor invoices, expense reports, and accounts payable.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including cash, bank, receivables, and payables.
  • Assist with financial closings (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Reconcile credit card transactions.
  • Support accounts payable processes and vendor onboarding.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Participate in budgeting and payment activities.
  • Support financial due diligence and integration tasks for acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to process improvements and special projects.
Experience Needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
  • 2–3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or multi-entity environment.
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end processes.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Experience with vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial statement basics.
  • Experience with budgeting, payment posting, or financial due diligence is a plus.
  • Experience maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries is helpful but not essential.
  • Involvement in process documentation or improvements is a bonus.
