Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and financial reporting understanding.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline discipline.
• Excellent client communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, GL entries, and reconciliations.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing for individuals and businesses.
• Interact with clients to gather financial data and address inquiries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist senior CPAs with special projects and analyses.
• Prepare payroll, sales tax, and 1099/W-2 filings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with tax preparation and filing for individuals, businesses, and other entities
• Communicate with clients to gather financial data and address accounting inquiries
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Assist senior CPAs and management with special projects and financial analysis
• Preparation of required tax filings including:
  • Quarterly/annual payroll returns
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns
  • Annual W2 and 1099 filings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or CPA firm setting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused, professional demeanor
