Todd Technologies Inc LLC in Thornton, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial operations and impact the business through accurate accounting work. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

This position is eligible for the company’s annual bonus program and requires proficiency in accounting software and Excel. You will handle AP, month-end close, tax filings, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; recent grads considered.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor bills using the 3-Way match and understand impact on the general ledger.
• Maintain AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Review shipping bills and add landed cost to inventory.
• Identify bills that require use tax and post accrual.
• Process weekly payment runs.
• Review, code, and enter credit card transactions.
• Collect W-9s and prepare annual 1099s.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
• Maintain fixed asset ledger and post depreciation.
• Prepare and submit sales/use tax filings.
• Backup for accounts receivable invoices and cash receipts.
• Month end reconciliations and close activities.
• Assist in financial audits and complete assigned projects.

• Month end responsibilities include various balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in any financial audits
• Complete any assigned projects by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role but recent college grads will be considered
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
