Job summary

CFS in Seattle is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team onsite. The role focuses on supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting, with opportunities to impact controls and processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounting experience, a solid grasp of GAAP, and hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday. This is a growth-focused position with visibility and collaboration across finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems required; Workday experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and compliance-related activities.
• Support accounts payable, expense reporting, and general accounting functions as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
