Job summary

PEG Staffing & Recruiting in Saint Charles, MO is hiring a Staff Accountant for a direct-hire role. You will work closely with the Controller and a collaborative accounting team, handling full-cycle accounting, intercompany transactions, month-end close, and audit support from day one. Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate accounting or shared services experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience using an ERP or accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations
• Participate in the month-end close process
• Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Complete daily bank reconciliations
• Assist with annual audit preparation
• Support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams as needed
• Help maintain accurate financial records and improve accounting processes
