Job description

• Hands‑on Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day office accounting and project billing activities, contribute to the month‑end close and financial reporting, and be a hands‑on contributor who can work with and support other accounting staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting tasks including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month‑end close support.
• Manage and support AR and AP processes (project billing, collections support, invoice processing and vendor coordination).
• Assist with financial statement preparation and balance sheet work.
• Work with project managers and architects and field staff to ensure alignment on project accounting and job costing.

Required qualifications

• 3 years of general accounting experience.
• Proven, hands‑on accounting skills with an ability to work independently.

Preferred

• Experience with AR as a core responsibility and prior exposure to project accounting or multi‑project operations.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.

Compensation

• $50–$70k; depending on experience.

Work arrangement

• On‑site role — this is not a remote position.
