Job Description:

We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to support the financial backbone of our growing organization. In this role, you’ll handle core accounting processes across multiple portfolio companies and contribute to accurate, timely financials each month.

You’ll work closely with our Accounting Manager and COO to ensure clean books, strong controls, and steady financial operations - and you’ll get visibility into how B2B SaaS businesses grow, scale, and operate. This role is a great fit for someone early in their accounting career who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to learn.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and process AP/AR transactions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, vendor issues, and payment variances
• Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain up-to-date and well-documented general ledger records
• Assist with month-end close, including account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Contribute to financial reporting and help deliver clean, audit-ready financials
• Support internal controls and compliance efforts, including audit prep and documentation
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automation, or reporting workflows
• Jump into ad hoc projects, from financial analysis to helping onboard new systems

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience, ideally in a multi-entity or SaaS environment
• Solid grasp of GAAP and foundational accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables; bonus for familiarity with macros or data analytics tools)
• Clear communicator, curious learner, and confident working both independently and on a small team
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Detail-oriented and trustworthy with sensitive financial data
