Job summary

Lake Wildwood Association in Penn Valley, CA, is seeking an accounting professional to provide support within the Finance department. The role offers an hourly pay range of $30–$35 DOE and includes benefits such as a 401(k) with employer match and privileges at the community facilities.

You will handle balance sheet reconciliations, bank statement postings, support audits, and month-end close tasks using Excel; assist with budgeting and special projects under the Accounting Manager or Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and three or more years of related accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide reconciliation support for balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with reconciliation of bank statement activity to the general ledger.
• Assist as directed with auditor requests relating to the Association's annual audit.
• Maintain filing system for journal entries, bank statements, external reports, and other miscellaneous items.
• Special projects as directed by the Accounting Manager or Director of Finance.
• Assist with month-end close process, including Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and account analysis.
• Assist with the Association's annual budget preparation.
