Job Description

Summary

The staff accountant will perform general financial accounting tasks and other related duties for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with review of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoicing.
• Oversees and assists with monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Manages weekly vendor payment processing and remittance reporting.
• Generate and process journal entries in a timely manner.
• Assists Financial Accounting Leader with month end closing and preparation of internal financial reports.
• Performs monthly GL reconciliations.
• Process all company expense reports and expense reimbursements.
• Communicates effectively, both externally and internally, in a timely manner.
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree – Accounting or Finance
• At least 1 year of experience (private sector preferred)
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
