Job summary

PM Pediatrics in Lake Success, NY, is seeking a Staff Accountant for a hybrid role combining in-office and remote work. The position supports the month-end close and accounts payable activities within the Accounting Department.

You will manage cash flows, complete bank reconciliations, and prepare journal entries while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Familiarity with Workday and strong Excel skills are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
• Experience with Workday or similar systems preferred.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
