Job summary

Floowi, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our lean, collaborative finance team in a fully remote role. The position offers a competitive USD salary and an ASAP start date, with daily financial operations and monthly close support as the company scales its brands.

The ideal candidate has hands-on accounting experience, strong NetSuite proficiency, and the ability to work in a lean environment while maintaining high accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of general accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel, incl. pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank accounts.
• Prepare daily cash reports.
• Enter and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Download e-commerce marketplace deposit reports and create journal entries.
• Perform month-end reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and customer liabilities.
• Create intercompany invoices and journal entries.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Support the month-end close process.
• Assist with sales tax prepayments and filings.
• Assist with other accounting tasks and process creation.

This person will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring a smooth month‑end close process as the company and its brands continue to grow. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, comfortable working in a lean team environment, and experienced with NetSuite. This role offers a varied day‑to‑day workload where the candidate’s contributions will have a direct impact on the team’s success.

• Experience supporting accounting operations in a growing consumer goods environment
• Experience with tools such as Slack and Adobe Acrobat
