Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or relevant experience plus relevant work background.
• Hospitality or resort accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mathematical ability and accuracy; 10-key and PC proficiency required.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet apps, and email.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; accuracy is essential.
• Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts accurately and timely.
• Identify and resolve account discrepancies with sales, customers, and internal departments.
• Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts and monthly transfers to the receivable account.
• Verify totals and prepare reports with accuracy at every step.
• Analyze invoice and expense reports and record entries per procedures.
• Review data for Managed Property Accounting for accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare monthly statements for Managed Property unit owners.
• Perform monthly member billing.

What you bring:

• Associate degree in Accounting plus relevant experience could be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Hospitality or resort accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to make accurate calculations; proficiency with 10-key and PC required.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and email.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
• Proven ability to manage time well, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure; you find solutions and stay calm when it's busy.
