Job summary

Accountants One, Inc. is assisting our client in finding a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, and audits in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, degree in accounting/finance, strong Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), and CPA credentials a plus. You will work with international subsidiaries on monthly close, assist auditors, and contribute to SOX and SEC reporting while handling ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or related experience.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• CPA license or studying to complete a CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end closing duties, including posting general ledger journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and preparing senior management reports.
• Coordinate with third parties on international subsidiary monthly close procedures and preparing journal entries.
• Reconcile domestic and international cash and inventory balances.
• Assist auditors with information gathering for statutory audits.
• Assist management in SOX compliance and SEC reporting.
• Handle other ad hoc accounting projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with month-end closing duties, including preparing and posting general ledger journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and performing various tasks for accurate financial statements and senior management reports.
• Coordinating with various third parties on international subsidiary monthly close procedures and preparing journal entries.
• Performing reconciliation of domestic and international activities such as cash reconciliation and inventory balance reconciliation
• Assist in gathering and analyzing information as requested by the internal/external auditors, including statutory audits.
• Assist management in SOX compliance and SEC reporting.
• Other ad hoc activities and projects.
