Job summary

A leading global real estate and lifestyle company is seeking a Staff Accountant responsible for daily accounting and financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 2-4 years of corporate accounting experience, and a familiarity with JD Edwards/Hubble.

• Background in public accounting preferred.
• Real estate experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papers including account reconciliations
• Review and analyze the general ledger, financial statements, and prepare accrual and adjusting journal entries
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Review invoice billings
• Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables
• Assist in the compilation of information of the overall year-end audit
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2-4 years of corporate accounting experience
• Background in public accounting
• Knowledge of JD Edwards/Hubble reporting a plus
• CPA a plus
• Real estate experience a plus

$60,000-$80,000
