ASGCO® “Complete Conveyor Solutions” is seeking a Staff Accountant in Nazareth, PA. You will work with the Controller and Assistant Controller, handling customer billings, AR activities, and related financial records.

• 5+ years of private accounting experience.

• Thorough understanding of internal accounting controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards World and EnterpriseOne Software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate customer billings.
• Maintain underlying accounting data to ensure invoices are calculated accurately.
• Respond to questions or concerns from customers regarding invoices.
• Ensure accounts receivable and customer records are up-to-date and reflect invoices, payments, balances.
• Receive payments and apply to customer accounts (checks, card, ACH, wire).
• Process customer credit memos.
• Oversee Return Goods Authorization process.
• Support Controller and Assistant Controller.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of timely and accurate customer billings
• Maintain underlying accounting system data to ensure invoices are calculated accurately.
• Provide necessary documentation, research, and respond to questions or concerns from customers regarding invoices.
• Ensure accounts receivable and customer records are always up-to-date and accurately reflect invoices, payments, balances, customer information, etc.
• Receive payments through various methods (checks, credit card, ACH, and wire payments) and promptly apply payments to respective customer accounts.
• Process customer credit memos.
