Job summary

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist based in Nazareth, PA. The role requires extensive experience with Mazatrol programming (turn & mill), setup and operation of milling machines and lathes, and precise measurement using calipers and micrometers.

A valid driver’s license is required for occasional company vehicle use. The position demands the ability to read blueprints and manuals, maintain detailed records, and perform in a fast-paced environment with strong attention

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• Extensive knowledge of basic math, geometry, and measuring devices (caliper, micrometer).
• Extensive knowledge of Mazatrol programming (turn & mill).
• Knowledge of manual lathe and milling machines.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and follow formats; inform others; solve problems.
• Ability to set up and program milling machines and lathes.
• Maintain accurate records; strong attention to detail.

Job description

Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Nazareth, PA

SIGN-ON BONUS

ASGCO engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience
• Extensive knowledge of basic math, geometry, and measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of Mazatrol Programming (turn & mill)
• Knowledge Manual lathe and milling machines
• Read a variety of manuals, blueprints, and following prescribed formats with the ability to inform others and solve practical problems
• Ability to set up & program milling machines and lathes
• Maintain accurate records
• Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Valid Driver's License to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to hold tolerances
• Can lift up to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finer dexterity

Working Conditions:

• Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelines
• Possible exposure extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.
• Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, which may include a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.
