Spherion Naples is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our in-person accounting team in Naples, FL. You will help maintain financial health, reconcile ledgers, and support month-end close activities.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years accounting experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and good communication. The position offers a daytime schedule, with a supportive environment and opportunities for process improvement.

• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, bank statements, and quarterly fixed asset schedules to ensure total accuracy and compliance.
• Assisting with month end and year end closing processes, internal and external audit preparation, and preparing required industry compliance reports.
• Processing business expense reports, allocating departmental costs, and reconciling inventory accounts.
• Supporting special financial projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing day to day accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills

• Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
• Bilingual capability in Spanish is a plus.
• Prior experience preparing documentation for internal or external financial audits.
