Good Game Collective is hiring a Staff Accountant to run day-to-day accounting across our partner businesses, reporting to the VP of Finance & Accounting. This role emphasizes accuracy, GAAP compliance, and ownership of the close process in a modern, AI-enabled finance stack.

You'll manage monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, work cross-functionally, and support audits and lender requests as the company grows in Utah and beyond.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• Solid GAAP knowledge and comfort with cloud ERP systems (Campfire, Sage Intacct, NetSuite).
• Strong Excel skills and curiosity about using AI for faster work.

We are hiring a Staff Accountant to run the day-to-day accounting across our partner businesses, reporting directly to our VP of Finance & Accounting.

What You Will Own

The monthly close across multiple entities: journal entries, accruals, amortization, and reclass and allocation entries.

Reconciliations – bank, credit card, and balance sheet – including tracking down the items that do not tie.

Clean, GAAP-compliant general ledgers across every business in the family.

Monthly reporting and analysis for leadership and ownership, working with teams across the company to get the data right.

Audit support, lender requests, and compliance needs.

The manual steps in our process and the automation that replaces them.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

2+ years of accounting experience.

Solid GAAP knowledge and comfort working in a cloud-based ERP (Campfire, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar).

Strong Excel skills and real curiosity about using AI to work faster. We use Campfire, Ramp, Claude, and Google Workspace daily.

The kind of attention to detail where reconciliations actually reconcile.

Comfort with change. We are growing, and the systems, processes, and entity list will all shift along the way.

Helpful, Not Required

Multi-entity or full-cycle accounting experience.

Time in a private equity-backed or multi-site organization.

CPA licensure.
