Staff Accountant

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including monthly reconciliation of ledgers, journals, accruals schedule, prepaid expense schedule, advance schedule and recurring entries for accruals and prepaids.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Make corrections in the general ledger at end of each month for any back-value entries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
• Manage fixed assets entries for new acquisitions/disposals and monthly depreciation.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly and other financial accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
