Job summary

AngMar Management Services, operator of Angels Care Home Health & Hospice, seeks a Staff Accountant in Mansfield, OH. You will handle data entry, prepare journal entries, and support month-end closings within a healthcare finance environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, and advanced Excel skills. Sage Intacct experience is preferred. This role offers a path for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or higher, required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel required.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Sage Intacct required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monthly financial close by preparing and submitting journal entries.
• Performs monthly account reconciliations and review of general ledger accounts and funds for accuracy.
• Verify, allocate, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepares schedules and workpapers for review.
• Perform and support month-end, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
• Meet all process and reporting deadlines.
• Participate in department projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
