Requirements

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Assist in special projects, as directed.
• Assist with financial reporting audits, working with internal audits, the Arkansas Insurance Department, independent auditors, and/or Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
• Perform advanced accounting functions, including preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounting analysis and reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Prepare supporting financial data as required.
• Reconcile, confirm, and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Review the work of peers, providing coaching and mentoring to less experienced accountants.
