Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• If degree is in Finance, successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I & II required.
• Employees in accounting/finance pursuing a Bachelor's degree will be considered after completing Intermediate Accounting I & II.

Responsibilities

• Assists with financial reporting audits, working with internal audits, Arkansas Insurance Department, independent auditors, and/or Blues Cross and Blue Shield Association.
• May assist in special projects, as directed.
• May analyze and review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Performs general accounting functions, including journal entries, invoicing, accounting analysis and reconciliation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Prepares supporting financial data as required.
• Reconciles, confirms and maintains general ledger accounts.
