Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team in a hybrid work environment. This role offers exposure to multiple areas of accounting within a federal government contracting setting, with hands-on responsibility and opportunity to impact government programs.

You will support accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end close, while developing expertise in Deltek Costpoint and compliance with DoD regulations. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DoD accounting experience, applying federal financial regulations and supporting defense-related audits and reporting.
• Minimum 3 experience with Deltek Costpoint, including hands-on experience with General ledger, billing modules, supporting month-end close and reviewing financial activity.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and will be required to pass a background check

Career Path

This position is designed with advancement in mind. Over time, the Staff Accountant will progress within the accounting and finance area, eventually assuming backup responsibilities for the Controller as an Assistant Controller.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is not required, but is a plus

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00
