The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and solid Excel/QuickBooks skills. Office-based in LaGrange, GA with standard hours and extended season planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent training and experience required
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Online and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and time management abilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare business and individual tax returns
• Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare payroll tax filings and sales tax returns

Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will support our clients by preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activity, performing reconciliations, and assisting with tax preparation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare business and individual tax returns
• Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare payroll tax filings and sales tax returns
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve questions
