LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Knoxville-area organization to identify a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. You will prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities in a fast-paced team.

You'll contribute to financial statements, management reports, and audit requests while ensuring GAAP compliance. This role offers growth in a collaborative accounting team with benefits described.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain fixed asset, prepaid expense, and accrual schedules.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and GAAP.

Typical responsibilities for Staff Accountants include journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close support, financial reporting assistance, and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities
