Job summary

CFS in Kent, Ohio is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the corporate accounting team with fixed assets, journal entries, and the month-end close. You will work closely with the accounting department on reconciliations and month-end reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and prior staff accountant or general ledger experience; fixed assets exposure is a plus. This position offers stability in a family-owned environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior Staff Accountant or general ledger accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process.
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting and account analysis.
