Job summary

RBSK Partners PC in Indiana is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to support tax and accounting projects across multiple clients. This hands-on role offers exposure to staff, senior leaders, and clients, with opportunities to deepen technical skills and contribute to process improvements.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA path encouraged), have tax preparation experience, and be able to work both independently and in a team to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred; recent grads accepted.
• Tax preparation experience preferred.
• CPA license or pursuing CPA exam encouraged.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and ability to create financial reports.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to track deadlines.

This is a hands‑on, highly visible opportunity, working with staff, senior leaders, and clients. The ideal candidate for the full‑time Staff Accountant role will be able to successfully rotate between a variety of general tax and accounting assignments, with an interest in following accounting and finance procedures. Positively affect the outcome by actively engaging clients and following process improvement efforts, to ensure close deadlines are met.

Core Qualifications And Experience

The Staff Accountant must be able to effectively manage a variety of tax and financial statement projects and for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred; recent college graduates accepted.
• Tax preparation experience is preferred.
• Individuals may have a current CPA license or have a future desire to pass the CPA exam.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and ability to create financial reports.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to track deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft office, email and other basic computer skills.
• Propensity to learn and navigate the software used throughout the organization.
