Job summary

RBSK Partners PC in Indiana seeks a passionate full-time Senior Accountant to rotate across tax and general accounting assignments and to help establish and regulate accounting procedures. You will actively engage clients and drive process improvements to ensure tight deadlines are met while adapting to continual growth.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in accounting and tax, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and ideally a CPA license or pursuit, with strong analytical and communication skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the full-time Senior Accountant role will be able to successfully rotate between a variety of general tax and accounting assignments, with an interest in establishing and regulating accounting and finance procedures. Positively affect the outcome by actively engaging clients and implementing process improvement efforts, to ensure close deadlines are met and be comfortable with change. Core Qualifications And Experience

The Senior Accountant must be able to effectively manage a team along with a variety of tax and financial statement projects and for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in accounting and tax preparation is a plus.
• Individuals may have a current CPA license or have a future desire to pass the CPA exam.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and ability to create financial reports.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to track deadlines.
• Ability to pay attention to detail to identify errors and inconsistencies in data.
• Proficient in Microsoft office, email and other basic computer skills.
• Propensity to learn and navigate the software used throughout the organization.
• Have strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, leadership skills and problem-solving capabilities.
