Job summary

Brilliant Financial Staffing is seeking a Staff Accountant for our real estate client in downtown Chicago, IL. The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience and strong Excel skills. You will join a collaborative team and contribute to accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, GAAP compliance, and supporting audits. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred. Compensation is in the $75-80k range with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index)
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Advanced attention to detail and analytical skills
