Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of 1+ year of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience in consumer finance or auto finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with the month-end financial close process, including preparation and review of supporting documentation.
• Perform reconciliations and review financial data for reasonableness and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with document retention policies.
• Research transaction details and elevate discrepancies or issues to senior team members as appropriate.
• Support ad hoc projects and day-to-day accounting operations as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and efficient processes.
• Work as part of a team to meet departmental deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team by ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting the month-end close process, and contributing to ongoing accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Education & Experience

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience:
