Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing company in Garland, TX to hire a Staff Accountant to strengthen month-end close, reconcile accounts, and support reporting in a construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of accounting experience, construction accounting exposure, and familiarity with CMiC or similar construction ERP solutions. Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Construction accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with CMiC or a comparable construction ERP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and journal entries.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Assist with payroll and labor reconciliations.
• Process daily deposits and support audit requests.
• Partner with other departments to research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Work within a construction ERP such as CMiC
