The responsibility of the position encompasses accounting tasks around accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and some reporting and analysis tasks to support the Controller in the accounting activities of the business.Duties/Responsibilities:- Manages quoting details in SalesForce and billing in QuickBooks for Biosolutions clients.
- Submits invoices on client portals, when required.
- Coordinates completion of client forms requests (W-9, banking forms, etc.)
- Manages Accounts Receivable and reaches out to customers for unpaid balances.
- Sends monthly statements to Biosolutions clients.
- Enters client cash receipts in QuickBooks.
- Processes Accounts Payable bills and enters them into QuickBooks.
- Updates and maintains ACH vendor templates on banking portal.
- Enters ACH vendor payments on banking portal.
- Emails vendor payment remittances.
- Completes monthly bank reconciliations or account reconciliations, as assigned.
- Summarizes monthly Visa statement and enters details in QuickBooks.
- Provide monthly budget reports to department managers.
- Review monthly costs and analyze variances.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and some analysis experience.
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills.
- Salesforce working knowledge, nice to have, not required
Education and Experience:- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, or related field, preferred but not required.
- At least three years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Remote position with very limited travel to the Corporate Office annually (5%).
