The Staff Accountant will be key in daily and monthly financial processes supporting the accounting function and serve as a resource and partner to the Finance team.**Responsibilities**As Staff Accountant, you will contribute to key financial processes that support the organization’s continued growth and operational excellence. Success in this role will include the ability to:* Manage key aspects of the receivables process, including preparing and issuing invoices accurately to the appropriate parties, monitoring incoming payments, supporting collection efforts, and completing allowance calculations.* Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established deadlines.* Maintain accounting operations and provide support for miscellaneous projects and departmental initiatives as needed.* Serve as a backup resource for critical accounting processes to ensure continuity and operational support.* Act as a change champion by identifying opportunities for process improvement and assisting with the implementation of enhanced workflows.* Provide support for financial analysis, company-wide initiatives, the annual budgeting process, and forecasting activities.**Education and experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, along with two or more years of relevant experience; alternatively, three to five years of directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.* Working knowledge of accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, and Microsoft Excel is required.**Talents and Abilities*** Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Effective written and verbal communication skills* Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment**Availability*** In-office**About Integrity****Integrity** is one of the nation’s leading independent distributors of life, health and wealth insurance products.
