Job summary

Persona Triangle is seeking an Accountant to join our team in a manufacturing environment. You will support manufacturing accounting, costing, and inventory analysis, and prepare monthly and year-end financial reports. Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency are essential.

The role reports to the Group Controller and involves cross-functional collaboration to improve profitability and reduce costs. This is a full-time on-site position with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management.
• 1–2 years accounting experience in a professional environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management.
• Perform margin analysis and reconcile freight and overhead costs.
• Support reporting, including inventory and cost center reporting.
• Assist with sales tax returns and related analyses.
• Monitor raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory; assist with audits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Persona is looking for an Accountant to join our team. If you have worked in the manufacturing industry before and have advanced accounting skills, we are interested in speaking with you. You should possess excellent analytical skills along with the ability to combine different data and find solutions to increase profitability and decrease costs. Our ideal candidate should also be able to create detailed reports that present cost-effective solutions for Persona.

Job Summary

In this position, you will report directly to the Group Controller and provide your knowledge and expertise when performing manufacturing accounting, costing, inventory analysis and preparing monthly and year-end financial reports.

Job Responsibilities

Monthly financial statements

• Crosstrain the inventory and month-end processes
• Assist with the gathering of information, reconciliations, journal entries, etc.
• Prepare the month-end financial statements that are presented to Management.
• Review, investigate and correct transactional issues, answer questions from other departments.
• Prepare and reconcile subsequent reporting.

Margin Analysis

• Apply, analyze, adjust, and reconcile freight and freight margins.
• Analyze and reconcile Sales Gross Margin.
• Absorption of Direct Labor and Overhead

Reporting

• Prepare various daily, weekly, monthly reporting for the Management Team.
• Quarterly review of old open PO’s, Quotes and SO’s.

Sales Tax Returns and Analysis

• Assist with monthly and quarterly sales tax reporting.
• Assist the sales department with sales tax-related questions.

Inventory

• Assist with Raw, WIP, and Finished Good inventory monitoring from start to close.
• Prepare random audits.
• Do Cost Center reports and analyze the results.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management
• 1 - 2 years Accounting Experience in a professional environment desired

• Ability to think analytically.
• Strong Excel skills

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical Days and hours worked are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Physical Demands

This position will require an employee to be able to be sedentary for extended periods of time in an environment with the noise level of an average office.
