STAFF ACCOUNTANT
NAZARETH, PA
Responsibilities
- Reconcile key Balance Sheet accounts.
- Review reconciliations and the month-end close.
- Generate and tie out various financial reports.
- Analyze and review variances for income statement balances.
- Work with other departments to ensure timeliness and accuracy of month-end information.
- Prepare, review, upload, and post journal entries when required.
- Resolve financial questions for departments.
- Preparation of timely and accurate customer billings.
- Maintain item master and create new items and bill of materials as necessary.
- Work with and provide support to the Controller, inventory accountant, and accounts receivable supervisor.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining vigilant attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Solid organizational and time management skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized, critical thinker focused on continual improvement.

Qualification
- 3+ years prior office experience as a Staff Accountant, manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent math ability.
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with automated inventory, billing, purchasing, and accounts payable systems.
