Job Overview
The SGO currently has an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with superior accounting acumen to join the team as Staff Accountant. We are looking for an individual to bring their attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills to our fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The successful incumbent will see the big picture and embrace change to ensure they meet their goals and the goals of the SGO and FWC.
What You Will Do
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the?Staff Accountant?will handle?A/R, A/P, general accounting, expense management, month-end responsibilities, including bank reconciliations and internal reporting, and assist with the annual audit.? This position will assist staff and the accounting team as needed and respond to information requests by management.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience. The hiring range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, and short- and long-term disability benefits; vacation time, sick time, 11 named holidays and 3 floating holidays, and parental leave.?

Requirements for Success
The work of the SGO is conducted primarily in a remote office environment with occasional requirements to be onsite for group meetings and events. Travel is required approximately 2-3 days per year.
