POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant is a critical role within the finance department, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be able to handle a wide range of tasks, including bank reconciliations, credit card management, and financial reporting. The Staff Accountant will work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial information is available to support decision-making. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in Accounting and have a solid understanding of accounting concepts. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, is strongly preferred. The Staff Accountant must have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to review their own work and correct any errors before completing each task. As the role involves corresponding with owners, vendors, and business partners, excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
