Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing, collaborative team and support core accounting functions while building a foundation for long‑term career growth. You will handle ad hoc financial analysis, period-end activities, and contribute to strategic initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic initiatives.
• Support expansion efforts, capital projects, and operational improvements.
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting and balance sheet maintenance.
• Help ensure expenses and transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Partner with accounting and operations teams on day-to-day financial activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and internal documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements as the organization continues to scale.
