Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a hybrid role in Danvers, MA. You will handle month-end close, general ledger work, journal entries, and reconciliations while supporting AP/AR and payroll processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of staff accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and discretion with confidential payroll data. Great Plains experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Staff Accountant or related accounting experience (not entry-level).
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of AP and AR.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information with discretion.
• Experience with Great Plains is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process.
• Support general ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.

Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 + 5% target bonus + 3% 401(k) match
