Job summary

Alliance Resource Group in Southern California is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial transactions for our growing organization. You will ensure that all financial records are accurate and up to date, and you will provide financial insights to senior management to help drive strategic growth.

The role includes assisting with monthly statements, implementing strong financial controls, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Inventory experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's financial transactions, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and inventory reconciliations.
• Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date and comply with laws and regulations.

• Manage relationships with external partners, including auditors and tax advisors.
• Work with other departments to develop and implement processes and systems that improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial data.
