Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support across multiple entities, contributing to accurate financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, vendor payments, and related documentation.
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts, debt agreements, and revenue and expense accounts.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including asset tracking and construction-in-progress activities.
• Assist with month-end close procedures and audit preparation.
• Prepare financial, accounting, and administrative reports as needed.
• Maintain data accuracy across ERP systems and accounting platforms.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Support internal and external reporting requirements and special projects as assigned.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting. The role provides exposure to financial reporting, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and month-end close while working alongside an experienced accounting team.

• Exposure to general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable through coursework, internships, or professional experience

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within a collaborative accounting team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
