Job summary

FPC Peachtree is seeking an Accountant to join our growing manufacturing finance team in Chicago. The role partners with manufacturing and operations to drive standard costs, capital investment analysis, and continuous improvement that boosts plant profitability.

You will develop costs, analyze variances, support month-end close, and help code manufacturing expenditures. Strong Excel, ERP experience, and the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial partners are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or financial analysis.
• Experience developing standard costs and analyzing manufacturing variances.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial business partners.

• Assist with select accounts payable functions, ensuring manufacturing and capital expenditures are accurately coded and approved.
