SHIRVANIAN & ASSOCIATES CPAS A PROF, an established boutique CPA firm, seeks an experienced tax accountant and bookkeeper to work closely with the firm partner. The role is full-time and available immediately, offering an excellent and flexible work environment with holidays, pension, and two weeks vacation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in tax and bookkeeping, CPA certification is preferred or nearing completion, and strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax.
• Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns.
• Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments.
• Tax research and preparation of client memoranda.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and knowledge of Lacerte.

Established boutique CPA firm searching for an experienced tax accountant and bookkeeper to work alongside firm partner. This position is full-time and available immediately.

Preferred requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax
• Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
• Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments
• Assume tax preparation responsibility for the more complex returns
• Tax research and preparation of client memorandum
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Lacerte tax software
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of recent tax experience in public accounting
• CPA certification preferred-or near completion
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to work efficiently and effectively independently
• Able to multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects
