Our publicly traded client is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to join their team. The company offer excellent work life balance, room for growth and advancement and a hybrid work environment. The Corporate Staff Accountant will assist with month end close, journal entries, reconciliations and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial close including journal entries, internal reporting, and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with the treasury departments on accounting for corporate debt
• Maintain and reconcile prepaids
• Assistance with the review of monthly consolidated financial statements for corporate departments
• Record and reconcile key accruals each month
• Research and resolve accounting issues for corporate departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of experience working at a publicly traded company or for a public accounting firm doing external audit.
• Strong Excel skills.
