Job summary

A staffing and recruiting company is seeking an Associate in Finance to oversee asset distributions and manage journal entries. This full-time position starts onsite in Duluth, GA, transitioning to a hybrid model after 90 days. Candidates should have a solid understanding of accounting, experience with prepaid and accrual accounting, and proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup and account reconciliations.

Base pay range: $58,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Location and schedule

This position will start out in Duluth, GA before transitioning to Sandy Springs. Must be comfortable with both locations. It will be onsite for the first 90 days before moving to hybrid.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• For fixed assets they will oversee distributions for all the locations.
• Keeping up with reports for month end, journal entries, working in their RTS system and the Que.
• They will be posting a lot of journal entries, setting up accruals, keeping up with vendors and multiple checklists, assisting with posting wires
• Keeping track of 4 different wire accounts.
• Weekly check deposits.

Must-Haves

• Good understanding of accounting and willing to learn.
• Experience with prepaid and accruals, good with excel.
• X formulas and Y formulas
• Vlookup
• Account reconciliations
• Setting up pre-paid and managing the process. (A prepaid expense is something a company pays for in advance, but the benefit or service is received over time.)
• Intercompany accounting knowledge. (Sales or good of services between companies.)
