Job summary

SENTA Partners seeks a Staff Accountant to support monthly closings, maintain general ledger accuracy, and assist in strategic financial planning for its ENT and Allergy practices. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, healthcare finance, and cross-functional collaboration to support patient care.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, P&L reviews, and vendor management using Coupa and Sage Intacct, with emphasis on accuracy, detail, and timely reporting across multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• 1+ years experience with Sage Intacct or similar financial software, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• 1+ years experience with Coupa or similar procurement/expense management platforms, preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations (accounts payable, Divvy, etc.).
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reclassifications.
• Analyze and review monthly P&Ls for practices.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor prepaid assets and amortization schedules.
• Maintain Divvy reimbursement and credit card platform.
• Collaborate with operations to align financial operations with goals.
• Process accounts payable in Coupa and prepare vendor reconciliations monthly.
• Handle ad hoc requests as needed.

Position Summary

The Staff Accountant is a key player in the Company’s financial health by ensuring accuracy of financial documents of the ENT and Allergy Support Center. This position is responsible for assisting with monthly closings, ensuring the general ledger is accurate, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting principles, healthcare finance, and cross-functional collaboration to support the center’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations (accounts payable, Divvy, etc.)
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reclassifications
• Analyze and review monthly P&Ls for practices
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, HIPAA, and other healthcare-specific regulations
• Monitor and maintain prepaid asset records and amortization schedules
• Maintain and manage the Divvy reimbursement and credit card platform
• Cross collaborate with operations and various other departments to align financial operations and organization goals
• Process accounts payable in Coupa and prepare vendor reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Ad hoc requests as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• 1+ years experience with Sage Intacct or similar financial software, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
• 1+ years experience with Coupa or similar procurement/expense management platforms, preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Experience in healthcare, private equity, or multi-site operations, preferred
